Worth the trip if you like arboretums and gardens. We were there in the winter, but still lots to see and nice walking paths. The aroma garden took my breath away when we walked past it - wonderful smells! $5 entrance fee/person.

This is a really nice detour from campus. They have all different types of ecosystems in the terrain his wheelchair friendly. All different kinds of plants and trees and flowers. Be prepared to spend some time and maybe even go on a tour

This is a lovely arboretum with easy walking. A special bonus is that they have 2 white hummingbirds resident: an Anna's& an Allen's, both in the Australian section. If you miss them, they still have dozens of hummers to see.

With its vast collection of native and non-native flowering plants, this is a great place for artists year-round. You might get lucky and catch a glimpse of a hummingbird! Check the calendar for workshops and festivals.

This place is a hidden gem! They have sections here that have flowers/plants from Australia, Newzealand, SouthAfrica - it is really amazing to see so many different varieties. The good part is all the plants have name tags and that helps in case you want...More
