This will grab people differently. The garden attempts to preserve endanger plants from California, Australia, and South Africa. I was surprised to see so many blooming flowers in January. I came for birds and hummingbirds and was mostly unsuccessful. Hardly any one there even though...More

How neat it was to see exotic plants from Australia and New Zealand without having to fly across the continent! During Thanksgiving time African proteas and other ornamentals I've only seen in flower arrangements were blooming on large shrubs. A unique opportunity. And the bunnies...More

We visited in November and spend about an hour and half looking at the plants and watching the hummingbirds. I like the cactus area. So many varieties and the international plants are very interesting. It was fun to sit and watch the many hummingbirds feed...More

We really enjoyed the visit, however next time we would start from 'the left hand side' and leave New Zealand for the very end. Look for hamming birds and kiwis. Admission is on a form of a donation 5$ per adults, kids below 6 yo...More

Parking is available. There is a $5 fee for admission with payment on the honor system. The gardens are nice enough, but I found nothing special about this arboretum.

We visited in September which unfortunately is a pretty dry time, so a lot of the plants were not at their best. As we were looking at the map, a very helpful man who seemed to work there stopped to give us some guidance. That...More

Visited the Arboretum when I have a mid afternoon break from working around the house. Perfect day. What a joy to walk through this arboretum. Great hummingbird spot. Each section was better than the previous one. Will definitely go again. Can't wait.

Few people for a large area. Theme areas for South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. Take your time, keep on the lookout and you'll see plenty of fauna with your flora.
