We didn't realize things don't start hopping here until after noon. We had to leave at noon so just barely got a good falafel sandwich before having to leave. The view of the beach was nice.

Absolutely wonderful. I love it. I go with my family at least once a year. Great rides, great food, pricey but it's worth it.

Great experience! Loved watching the sea lions swim around and play with one another. Restaurants on the wharf are good! Bad customer service was experienced at one of the restaurants, I don't recall the name of the restaurant but it was the only one that is upstairs and is Mexican cuisine. The waiters didn't even acknowledge my son and I. I had to ask to place my order. I asked for plastic utensils the waiter looked at me and walked away...he never came back. I asked for 2 straws the bus boy who gave us the straws just got done running his hands through his hair....the straws were not wrapped. At the time the restaurant wasn't busy so I don't know exactly what was going on. No waiter asked us if we wanted a refill, our chip bowl refilled our beverages refilled. No nothing.
Worst experience ever.

Nice place, would have been great place to visit during summer. The pier/wharf was very touristy, lots of souvenir shopping, sunset was good. Plenty of seals to watch and be amused. I would highly recommend this place for families with little kids and early teens.

WOW! We were here on a Saturday and I think everybody from LA, San Francisco, and Santa Cruz happened to come at the same time! It was packed with people doing the rides, eating, and just walking the long Boardwalk area. Many people were also out on the sand close to the water. It was a LOT of fun to watch some of the rides and the people on them! Great people watching area! Parking wasn't cheap, but it was sure close!

This is the first boardwalk we have been to on the West Coast. It wasn't like any Boardwalk on the East Coast, but it was fun. The park is pretty clean and well-maintained. Solid collection of rides.
Great views of the ocean, and if you walk out on the pier, the pictures of the boardwalk are fantastic.

We had a drink on the boardwalk and looked in some of the T-shirt shops but the highlight of the visit was watching the sea lions at the end of the boardwalk as they climbed on and fell off a wooden platform

What rides are open weekdays? Where can I find a list of inside rides that will be open weekdays in February?
Cassandra F
Sacramento, CA14 contributions
The rides are open every day, including weekends unless there is inclement weather, but this may not be true during thw winter, so check their website.
Weather in February in California is generally cool and rainy, especially by the ocean, so if the Boardwalk chooses to be closed due to bad weather, it should be identified on their website.
Is there re- entry to the park with an all day pass?? Thanks

Yes I bought tickets online and as long as you give the confirmation number they will accept it
What happens if I ordered 3 season passes from Santa Cruz beach boardwalk over a week ago and I go in a week and still have not received them in the mail? I have a record of purchasing them but nothing more. Now what? I have tried everything to get ahold of them via email and calling them over and over and nobody will answer me or call me back for days. Not sure what to do at this point. I am afraid that I will not have passes when I go soon.
Does anyone know what the weight limit for the sky glider is ? (The góndola)
