The Santa Cruz history gallery is very interesting because it takes you from the area's early history to modern times. Each display contains artifacts and stories of local notables that influenced the area. Another gallery is currently displaying prints of the California coast by Tom...More

Always enjoy visiting and then stopping at The Octagon for coffee afterwards. Close to downtown Santa Cruz...Pacific Avenue...shopping and restaurants.

The exhibit was open during a company party. While we had been to Abbotts Square, we had never ventured in to the MAH. So thankful we did. The Voices of Santa Cruz County Foster Youth was impressive. You felt like you were talking to each...More

The MAH recently renovated the square to include a handful of places to eat, a tap room and a bar. It's a nice little addition. Nothing ground breaking. But a fun place to drop in for oysters and a beer, or a cocktail and snack...More

Disappointing and depressing exhibits about the treatment of Native Americans and the plight of children who go through the foster care system. Interesting and informative, but not enjoyable.

Love the third floor with the indigenous people and history of Santa Cruz. Becoming interactive and participatory. Think it was only $10.

This is a place that encapsulates the city perfectly -- it's definitely different, but in a good way. History gallery is not a parade of old white guys (and it's an interesting place), art exhibits are off beat, sometimes a little shocking, but always very...More
