This is downtown Santa Cruz with some fairly old buildings. Lots of food and lots of coffee. Some unique shops. Best explored on foot.

You have the homeless people and panhandlers. The place does have interesting shops but you need to put up with not so ideal atmosphere. Today, I had to go down there and it has not changed a bit.
