Passages is a 30,000-square-foot, interactive exhibit presented by Museum of the Bible that chronicles the remarkable history of the Bible, from its transmission and translation to its impact and controversies. Around 400 priceless artifacts are used to tell the stories at Passages. These are set against immersive environments, such as the Caves of Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered; the Jerusalem Chamber at Westminster Abbey, where a committee of scholars worked to finalize the King James Bible translation; and even the surface of the moon itself, where a complete copy of the Bible was carried by astronaut Edgar Mitchell on Apollo 14.

The Passages exhibit is now closed. In its place it a brand new Hobby Lobby owned and operated by the same Christian organization. It's so great to shop for my favorite crafts and listen to uplifting music!

This was way more than what I had expected and I didn't plan enough time to go through the entire exhibit at a leisurely pace. You could easily spend 2-3 hours here. It has since moved on but if you catch it in another city you will really enjoy. They have show and tell for the kids on papyrus and... More

What an incredible experience! This was an exhibit unlike any we have ever seen. The details, the settings, the artifacts and most of all the stories were absolutely fabulous. We would have liked to show it to our entire family, but alas it closed too soon. We just hope that many people saw it...If you missed it, your the next... More

Having made 4 trips to The Holy Land and filmed documentaries on Bible history worldwide, I can vouch for the authenticity and quality of Passages. It is a traveling exhibit and has packed up and moved on to its next location, in preparation for the terrific Museum of the Bible to open in Washington DC in the next year or... More

This exhibit was more than we expected. Quite an impressive collection of real artifacts and loads of information. I enjoyed the iPod audio tour that allowed me to go through all the various rooms at my own pace. I especially enjoyed the area that discussed the role of scribes and the use of papyrus and parchment. Visit soon ... the... More

My husband and I were very impressed with this collection! I was in awe of the collection of Bibles-some going back to the middle ages. The artwork and calligraphy in these Bibles is quite amazing. These Bibles are not facsimiles (unless noted)!. There are interactive, multimedia exhibits to enjoy, also. Don't miss this testimony to Christianity!

Catch this amazing museum while it's still in Saugus (Santa Clarita, CA) foe one more month before moving to permanent location in Washington, DC. No matter your personal views on religion this is an incredible multi-media, interactive museum - yes, about the bible, but in all it's forms and what caused changes - very interesting!

We went here not quite sure what we would find. They had so many old Bibles to see, along with other historical documents. You would definitely not be disappointed in coming to see all the exhibits they have inside. Don't wait too long though as this is only a temporary home for these exhibits. This is one place I definitely... More

We have been here four times now, and still not seen the whole exhibit. The staff in each area are so well educated and willing to share their knowledge, and engage in informed discourse with visitors, that we end up spending great amounts of time in each area, with the fascinating exhibits and collections.
