We went to Harris- Lass Historic Museum in Santa Clara. There is also nice grounds to see.
Two families owned the property for over 125 years. Its the last farm site in the Santa Clara area.
Things to see include the home, barn, summer kitchen, and tank house. II also very much liked the garden areas. There is also farm equipoment.

Only occupied by 2 families who left their belongings. Really shows what is was like cicra 1900's and reminded me of my grandmother's home. Very well kept and guided tours are excellently run.

Sounds like an interesting site but they are surrounded by locked gates and a high hedge so you can't even a decent photo of the tank house in back. Call ahead and go when they are open - I will next time I am in the area.

Looks like it might be interesting but has no hours posted. You need to call to visit. The gardens look like they are well kept but the gates are locked so you can’t walk around.

The president of the volunteers group was our docent and he not only know the history of the two families who lived in this farm house for 125 plus years but also his work behind the scenes to present this house. The furnishings were original from the last occupant of this house. Stuffs were interesting too. Very interesting and delightful. They only open or give tours two days a month so check their website. $3 donation a person. The volunteers are there because of their love for history and this place. Really enjoyed.

Can only view house through windows. Does not seem to be open to visitors. Not furnished although the wood inside is beautiful
