The Arcada has several restaurants and also terrific "little shops! Le Petite Valtien, Jenines and the other restaurants are all delightful for different reasons.

La Arcada was built in 1926. Today it's like a pretty outdoor mall with tile-lined walkways, fountains, sidewalk cafes and sculptures. The highlight was a fountain full of turtles.

This courtyard is right off State and has some touristy kitsch (bronze window washer, etc) but a good and dense array of tasting room, art gallery, coffee shop, 5 restaurnants, etc.

A historic paseo on State street, with something for everyone. Interesting statues, shops, food, and of course, the turtles in the fountain!

Okay to walk through and browse. Nothing special otherwise. A couple of restaurants with lots of noise. The fountain with the turtles is a good place to rest and relax.

Had to go and visit the turtles, although there didn't seem to be as many this time, and the restaurant has roped off part of the turtles fountain, so you couldn't walk around it. The arcade looks gorgeous at night with the lights on too.

Cafe, dinner, Irish music, art galleries and more. La Arcada has something for everyone. Next to the Museum of Art, you can stroll in the morning and have coffee at Jeannie's, Several art galleries will certainly be fond attractive. Need a barber, there is one there several gift shops that are enjoyable. If you are there on a Sunday afternoon... More

Wonderful architecture, art, statuary, shops and cuisine. Good for all ages. Try Petite Valentien or State and Fig for food. Don't miss the Waterman Gallery.

The courtyard is between a couple fascinating corridors with shops and restaurants. It can be tough to choose. But, no one has trouble stopping to check out the turtles!

Very much enjoyed this place to pause and take in the architecture and art. However, after all the reviews, I was anticipating there would be 'more' here. Still a great stop but not what I'd recommend as the only stop in this great area. (Smaller kids might really like the interactive sculpture.)
