This huge tree is not just a tree. It is huge. If you are down on State St anyway go have a look. It's not like the redwoods so don't figure you've seen one already.

Getting there was a little confusing but once we found it we liked taking pictures near the large exposed roots. There's a chain around the tree to prevent people from climbing but you can still get close enough for pictures to turn out well. We've...More

Stumbled across it by chance (without camera) but glad we did - met a delightful American girl/photographer who was so enthusiastic about it that it rubbed off and had to go back next day with camera to take photos!!

We decided to stop by and see the tree. The tree is very impressive, but that is really all it is. A tree in a park. But it was cool.

My kids loved this location. We brought lunch and played in the area for over an hour. There is nothing too exciting about the tree, but we enjoyed the ambiance.
