Loved everything about this. Great lunch provided. Bring a change of clothes so you can hike after the kayak, views are amazing. Waterprooof camera is a must. If you have a bad back, be prepared to lift and carry your own kayak over a rocky...More

My 15-year old son and his friend begged to do this Channel Islands kayaking trip when we took a trip from Northern California to Santa Barbara over spring break. I wasn't planning on doing the kayaking myself because I'm a runner, and although I exercise...More

This is a fun outting for a family or group who is reasonably coordinated, adventurous and not upset to get wet or cold. I wouldn't recommend it for those who want to just sit back and be comfortable. The boat over from Ventura is your...More

Great advice here, thanks for sharing. As an FYI for anyone reading this and wondering about skiffing to the island rather than unloading on the pier; the pier was damaged in a storm in mid December 2015 and is closed until the National Park Service...More

These guys are the best! We've had a membership in the co-op for a long time to use SUPs and they are always as accommodating as can be. We recently arranged an Island kayak adventure for nine of us through CIO and I highly recommend...More

We're touched by your nice comments and stoked you had such a great time at the islands. Happy Holidays!

Channel islands outfitters took great care of us, two amateur kayakers. They send you enough info ahead of time so you know what you need to bring and they provide things for you too (like an extra jacket to wear over the wetsuit, much appreciated)....More
