West Beach is north of Stearns Wharf along West Cabrillo. Easy to walk on or on nearby frontage path. Wide swath of sandy beach. At north end there are about thirty volleyball nets set up. We were here a a cool weekday early evening so not much volleyball. Looked like some instructors and students. Imagine on a warm weekend it is crowded.

Perfect spot for a beachvolleyballmatch! There is place enough and with good weather you'll quickly find and make some new sport enthusiastoc friends.
