Too bad such a lovely setting features a creepy park. Drunks and other adults not accompanied by children hover around the play structures. And, some children seem to be unaccompanied by adults. If it had better security and/or gate system, that would help. Maybe a park ranger of sorts could help monitor the scene for more safety. It has a... More

Chase Palm Park on Cabrillo Blvd across from the ocean is just the best. During the summer there are music events. It has a great playground, and also a fantastic carousel. A must do when grand kids visit us.

I visited Santa Barbara for my daughter's wedding, which was the best thing that happened to me this trip but the second best thing was meeting "One Feather" who is parked on the ocean side of Palm Park. Go see this guy and listen to what he has to say...you won't be sorry! I even brought my best buddy back... More

You play at the park for a little while and then you get sick of playing on the same things forever.

Recently we attended Thursday's concerts in the park, and the wine festival. Either side of the road has fantastic lawns and attractions. Go for anything they offer. It's a wonderful part of SB.

A very nice park - especially with young children. Near the entrance there is a carousel (which was great except for the fairly rude woman who ran the ride), and there is a beautiful pond with koi and ducks. There are three parks that are perfect for young children (from 2 and up). Overall a nice inexpensive family outing.

Another iconic spot on the Santa Barbara Waterfront, Chase Palm park provides plenty of space for the more active tourist who's more inclined to throw frisbee, play some pick up flag football or soccer. Locals and tourists use the park extensively and it's an awesome venue to let some steam off and have some vacation fun at the same time.... More

Indiana cousins joined me for a walk through the park on a Sunday afternoon. It was a lovely sunny day, because it had rained the day before not all of the artists were there for the Sunday art show but that was fine, it was less crowded. My cousins totally enjoyed seeing it all and it made me appreciate how... More
