A good place to take in the sea air, not much to see or do other than have a stroll, have some lunch or an ice cream. A few small shops for you to browse round

We walked rather than drove so avoided any parking charges. This is basically a pier with a selection of touristy shops and restaurants at the end selling candy, souvenirs and sea food. There are views out to sea and back towards Santa Barbara and it's beaches. We did not eat at any of the restaurants.

I have visited the wharf ever since I first lived in Santa Barbara in 1986. It affords great views of the beach, islands, and wildlife (seals, birds and whales - in season). My favorite thing to do is go out to the restaurant at the end, get a bread bowl filled with Clam Chowder and just relax! For those with... More

Pleasant to walk at dusk. A few small touristy stores and two good seafood restaurants. A nice view of the harbor and beachfront but not much else to do here.

The Stearn Wharf offer a great view of Santa Barbara from the ocean. The Deep Sea Tasting Room located about in the middle of the pier is great to sit down and relax with a glass of wine before a great diner downtown. It's the winery that has the best view in town for sure. I do not recommend any... More

Basic food and drinking establishments. Not best for whale watching tours. Try the othe harbor entrance where Condor are the best boats.

We found it an interesting walk along what is basically a 600 yard long pier. Unfortunately the fog didn't burn off til some time after we got off so the photo opps were limited. Shops and cafes not cheap as a captive market - a latte for my wife was $5.
