My daughter and I loved the gardens. I like to know the local flora and fauna. There are many paths that lead you through a myriad of zones of plants. There is a meadow, Redwoods, tea garden, and more. It is an easy walk through,...More

Although they refer to themselves as a botanical garden, it's more of a cross between a botanical garden and a preserve. It does have a few special areas but for the most part you walk through these paths through beautiful trees, meadows and gardens. It's...More

A favorite place to walk and clear your mind, some amazing views of the city and mountains (ask where to find them). Redwood forest, creeks, native plants to view and to buy. Gift shop with some beautiful paintings by local artists.

Entrance is $10/senior (expensive considering the smallish size) and we spent an hour strolling around the grounds. It is nice and focused on native plants in the area. There were several forks in the path and some better signage would have been appreciated.

We spent a lovely couple of hours here late one afternoon two weeks ago. We walked the paths and trails and thoroughly enjoyed the plants, the terrain, the signage. It's a true botanical gem. Nice gift shop and plant nursery. Very pleasant staff, too.

We were here in September, so there weren't a lot of flowers blooming. We had a nice walk through the forest area and desert terrain. From what I understand, May is a wonderful time to visit.
