This is a TRUE hidden gem, not the ones you go to and wonder why you went, no this is a must visit place. It's a little part of history AND the food is unbelievably good! Highly recommended!

When arriving at the Cold Spring Tavern we were surprised by the beauty and authenticity. The place is beautiful and the food is great. Steak and pork chop, ribs with homemade bbq... awesome! America at its best!

This is a must-do place for couples seeking an unusual and intimate dining experience. In addition to very authentic surroundings in an 1800's stage stop, our tri-tip sandwiches were excellent! Given the time, we would definitely return for dinner!

Went here for lunch on a fairly warm day, and was surprised by how cool this location is. The tavern is incredibly authentic, and we enjoyed a hearty meal in the restaurant.

We took our daughter and her husband here for their 5 year anniversary. This is the 3rd time we've been here. My daughter and husbands first. The food is terrific. I had the New York with peppercorn sauce. The sauce was a bit strong, overpowering...More

We rode up here on the motorcycle, which was a beautiful ride through the hills, with amazing views back to the coast. Highly recommended. The tavern itself is small but cozy, limited parking and limited seats inside. However plenty outside. Even without eating or drinking...More

Cozy and just a delightful place to visit. Totally unexpected on a back road drive. Worth going out of your way to enjoy the special place.

This historic suite gives one the feeling that a stagecoach could pull up at any time. The buffalo burgers are noteworthy and that's what we had. A walk around the grounds to see the out buildings adds to the experience. This is much more than...More

I love to go to the tavern for breakfast or lunch. It's a great one-of-a-kind place with historical character. Food is excellent with huge portions. Dinner is also fine, but not as good as the other meals in my view.

Even though it is a short distance from Santa Barbara, you really get the feeling that you are far away in the mountains. It is very rustic and there is not a lot of cement outside just very fine dirt. I would leave dogs in... More
