On a random recommendation, I decided to ride out to this place on motorcycle with some friends...we were beyond happy we went. The ride getting here is great for views from high on a mountain. The location is very historic and rustic. The staff was very friendly and took good care of us. Every single one of us in my... More

We came here at the recommendation of trip advisor reviews and were so happy with the decision! It's only 20 minutes from Santa Barbara, but feels like a million miles away. The drive up here is beautiful. We came for tri- tip since I can't get it in DC. Absolutely delicious and I thought the prices were very reasonable. The... More

Tucked into the hills above Santa Barbara, the 100+ year old place is beyond charming and terrific. The food is amazing with generous portions. The menu is quite different as is the experience. The chili is a signature item as a side or appetizer and a can't miss part of your meal. A wonderful evening for sure!

Very intrigued by this old tavern- a stagecoach stop from the 1800s. We were unable to visit during the weekend barbeque, disappointing. But we stopped by and wer encouraged to walk through the various rooms and experience how life was like back in the olden days-including the working fireplace that was completely heating the building on a nippy May day

Have been coming here for years and absolutely love this place. Couldn't be happier with meals, drinks, music on the weekends. Definitely stepping back through time when you come here.

I love riding ma HOG, really an Italian adventure tourer, up to the Cold Spring Tavern; apparently a lot of other bikers do to! Food was good but and it is just enough out of reach to make you feel like you are heading to a destination in the hills.

From the moment you arrive you know you are viewing history; it is quaint and memorable inside and out, and, by the way, they have the best onion rings you could ever want as well as daily choices of excellent cuisine.

Heard about this place from a friend in Oxnard. Very good breakfast. Quaint and historic. You'll not be disappointed by stopping in here. However, it looks to be a good place for the Harley crowds starting at 10 am onwards. We were just leaving at the time they started coming in. Not a negative comment on the Harley guys, but... More

We love Cold Spring. Have been there three times. The Tri-tip sandwiches are to die for! Great outside entertainment! Gets very crowded. Can be cool, so bring a jacket!

Lovely meal at this historic stagecoach stop. Lunch was very good, good choice all freshly made. Very popular so we had to wait for a table but the surroundings are so lovely around. You can have a drink too while you wait. Staff very friendly. We stopped en route from Santa Maria to Santa Barbara, good lunch stop.
