This is a super museum with a newly designed room for birds and a friendly outdoor area (including docents with live raptors) where grandkids can play in mud. Whale skeleton in front is hughly impressive.

My first visit since the remodel, and WOW! The new exhibits are thought provoking, and the redesigned landscape is a joy to discover. I immediately bought a membership so I could go back again and again.
After a large remodel, the Santa Barbara museum of Natural history continues to provide educational opportunities for all ages. The backyard of the museum has been upgraded with a very smooth walking trail.
