I like the Giraffe experience. The zoo where clean and have fresh air in the morning. It's a large zoo with plenty of animals. There was great shops to buy souvenirs and food.

I went to see the Magazine covers of National Geographic and it was worth the trip - we spent quite a bit of time looking at the covers and reading about how they were filmed, what was happening at the time of the picture etc...More

Had some free time during Fiesta week, paid the museum a visit. Senior discount for a nice little museum. Exhibits on pygmy mammoths (who knew?), Chumash Indians, fish and wildlife. One hall for "exploration" with some hands-on experiences for the kits. Worth an hour or...More

Okay, I'm biased! My uncles collected all the birds and mammals that are displayed in the Museum. Look for the mounted rattlesnake just inside the museum. My uncle made it and it's been delighting people since the late 40s.

There is an extensive collection of birds and eggs from California. The model of the blue whale outside was amazing.

Most awesome exhibit of National Geographic photographs from around the world. All the exhibits were so detailed and gave you the feeling that you were right there in the natural habitat.

Took my grand daughter and a friend, lots of fun for the kids, rode the train, the kids fed the giraffes and were excited too see the gorillas..
