I went here as part of a yelp event. The grounds are beautiful. Parking appears to be free (we were there after hours). The Mummies exhibit was quite different than I expected, meaning there was more than Egyptian mummies. The process of mummification was explained...More

This was a fabulous exhibit. Well worth both the cost and the time. I had always associated mummies with Egyptians and was fascinated by the vastness of the cultures that were also represented. Not only were there South American mummies, but there were human bodies...More

As always Bowers continues to raise the bar for its patrons to enjoy traveling through time in grand fashion. I have never been disappointed here and have always volunteered each time my boys had class trips here. My favorite was the Terracota Soldiers. Keep up...More

The Bowers has awesome, thorough exhibits that are interesting to adults and kids. But their new Mummies of the World exhibit is an absolute MUST SEE! It is better than the British Museum. Don't miss it!!

I love their community days. They feature different cultures with performances, food, booths & kid's activities. It's also a free day for the Santa Ana residents. It's an excellent idea to keep the people interested in the arts.

The Bowers is almost "local" to me, but I actually sought it out before I moved here, because I was intrigued by the fact that it is a museum of cultural experience. I truly love this place. I've been many times and have never had...More

Not to my knowledge, many museums are historically closed on Mondays. Hours should be posted on their website.
