There may be bigger markets somewhere but we have never seem one as large and comprehensive. Parking is good because it's normally used for government business and courthouse. Just wander down each isle and buy your stuff on the path back after you have seen everything as there are many redundant venders. Nice to have most of the food venders... More

When you have a court appt, you don't expect to have a great time. This lovely Frank Lloyd Wright building inspires you with the architecture and lovely views. Two big highlights. There is a lovely cafe with very good food. Grab a table at the side and enjoy the elevated view. The second is the legal help room at the... More

This is the only municipal building designed by the famous architect. If you have time, take one of the docent led tours.

Though Frank Lloyd Wright didn't live to seen his Civic Center completed, he was key to the design of this iconic public work. There are so many quirky facts about the building, but my favorite is that Wright wanted to provide the County's employees with commanding views of the surrounding hills and San Francisco Bay to relieve the boredom of... One of Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpieces! Great from any angle , inside or outside. The cafe is nice, with good service.

Frank Lloyd Wright fantasy. From an architectural and historical point of view it is a must. It also houses the law courts. Don't leave Marin without a visit. The huge canteen is open to the public. Food is basic but good and cheap. Long corridors naturally lit from above on either side of attractive well stocked planters. Fabulous outdoor Farmers'... More

I have wandered the halls many times. interesting to see the unusual architecture which was realized. No ordinary civic center here. Walk in to one of the lower entrances, walk around inside a while visiting different floors, and see if you get lost and cannot find your way to where you entered. I been lost several times myself and have... More

I am an attorney and visit the Marin County Civic Center Professionally. It is always lovely to walk through the Frank Lloyd Wright Building. The lines on this building are modern but welcoming. The court cafe is really good. Best of all the courts. There is a nice court yard in the back of the cafe. Great little book store... More

What a gorgeous building to work in!! Architectural design by Frank Lloy Wright, very interesting to wander around inside and read the news items on the walls about the many controversial issues building this magnificent structure. Pity the open air auditorium wasn't also constructed. Walk through and marvel.

I have loved this building since it was built. Many older folks hated it, but I have spent happy hours roaming the halls and rooms, eating out on the terrace, remembering some of the History of the building.
