Pretty, comfortable setting for wine tasting. Friendly informative staff. This is the winery if you prefer your wines on the drier side

The weather was perfect for enjoying the outdoors. I thought the outdoor furnishings were very nice but it wasn't as idyllic as I thought it would be with the road running adjacent to the winery. We enjoyed the tasting with our friends and the staff was very personable and friendly. Prices were decent enough. I was a bit surprised though that buying 2 bottles of wine only covered 1 wine tasting which was $20. I know prices are going up everywhere. I guess if we had joined the wine club, it would have been different. Neither the wines or the location were particularly attractive to us.

In these days of Covid restrictions, you make a reservation ahead of time, wear a mask until you sit down, and enjoy the outdoors. We learned a lot about the interesting history of the properties and had - unusual in this area - some decent Zins.
Overall a pleasant way to spend an hour or so.

Saucelito specializes in Zinfandel, and has some really nice ones. Great place to enjoy a picnic and a bottle of wine. The history of Zin presentation on the outside wall should not be missed by lovers of the grape.

My favorite wines of our trip. Gladys the pug will meet you in the parking lot and then you will get to enjoy a line up of lovely wines. We sipped our wines outside and enjoyed the views while we were there.

Very nice winery. I like the "no hurry, take your tasting outside, we'll come to you" service. Nice wines. And when we let them know we were interested in white wines, they gave us EXCELLENT suggestions on a couple close-by. We loved the service and the wines. We'll be back.

We stopped in our first day in SLO and went back everyday thereafter for a week. We fell in love with the vineyard so much we back wine club members. Terrie is an absolute dear, she's so sweet and incredibly knowledgeable. We appreciated the fact that they didn't care that we visited everyday for a week and got our 'free' glass of wine because we weren't going to be able to come any other time once we head back to TX, so they happily welcomed us each day as if we'd been visiting for years. We purchased a great deal to bring back with us because we didn't want to wait for our first shipment in May. If you like Zins or blends you've got to stop by and visit Saucelito Canyon Winery

Saucelito Canyon was our first stop while in SLO. The staff seemed friendly and we were greeted warmly upon arrival. It turns out Bob has been keepin Saucelito customers happy for the past 18 years and he was our assigned wine specialist this past Saturday. Did a single tasting which was waived when I decided to purchase a bottle of the 2015 Peterson Ranch Zinfandel. Love the nose and flavors of their Zins. Only downside is there only seemed to be outdoor seating and the bar area is on the smaller side. Given the usual warm California weather, I can’t imagine sitting outside being an issue on any given day. The wines are offered at a reasonable price point and there is no sacrifice in quality to do so! I definitely look forward to coming back!

My mom and I went to Saucelito Canyon as part of a wine tour, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. All of the wines we tasted were lovely, but the zinfandels were really out of this world, and pretty affordable, too. We enjoyed having our tasting outdoors at a shaded table, and my tasting fee was waived with the purchase of just one bottle. Saucelito Canyon is definitely worth a stop if you love zinfandel!
