Not recommended unless you’re willing to spend $25+ per person per plate of food or what ever you buy. Of course there’s little items like Cannolis and Corn you can get for a little under $10. Plus downtown SLO and the farmers are ran by hypocrites! They boast this “no smoking rule” for the entire city, but during farmer’s, everyone and their dog is smoking, even the police chief!! It’s crazy right? Seeing the police chief outside huffing and puffing a cigar with his cigar room buddies, outside in front of god and everyone, like he doesn’t have stupid laws to enforce? Plus the police can barely be found, usually if you need them, you can catch them all in a big group where you don’t need them grabbing a coffee or something unrelated to all of their job duties. On top of being overpriced and a place I don’t want to be if a catastrophe broke out, it’s so crowded! It’s like being in LA bumper to bumper traffic but standing up and walking. It’s more of a stressful “what am I getting for dinner today” vibe and it’s much easier to just order DoorDash from the restaurants on Thursdays or any other day. I would recommend giving downtown your patronage on any given day. It’s a wasteland of the selfish and the not very smart. Go to Pismo, Avila, Cambria, much more beautiful and much more to do.
