The first half was moderate and doable for an out of shape person like me. The second half, I had to stop several times because of the slope and the slippery stones. The view at the top and on the way down were wonderful on...More

Moderate hike, nice landscape, maintained paths. Just keep your eyes open for bikes. Some days there are a lot and others only a few. No dogs allowed is the only down side.

This is a great path for hikers only. No bikes. It is a 4 mile hike, easy to moderately strenuous. Altitude of 1300+ feet. If you don't want to go to the top, you can hike to the halfway point...the mid-hump. The wildflowers are nice...More

Fantastic view and nice easy trail. Parking can be tough and no dogs allowed, not even on a leash.can combine with a nice walk along the cliffs. Can be pretty crowded in the summer months. Better in winter.

I enjoy this hike because of the views, but all the shale and loose rock can make my feet sore if I don't have on my good hiking shoes. Once you're at the top you will have gorgeous views of the ocean on one side,...More
