Definitely worth a stop. Museum has lots of historical artifacts and provides a good summary of the history

Like the other missions this one has its own unique look. This mission features an excellent museum and pretty but smaller garden. The church with its addition is quite large. Be sure to walk out front for another well kept area . If you can go on the 1:15 free tour it’s about 45 minutes and meets on the front steps. We had Maurice who was very informative.

We took part of a tour with a docent, and it was excellent. The docent then answered questions and helped with lunch places . The museum and grounds are nice too.

This is probably one of the more picturesque mission churches, situated on a lovely plaza right in the middle of San Luis Obispo. The chapel interior is simple yet refined, and it has a unique L-shaped layout. The museum is a little on the small side, and given the mission's location, it was a bit crowded.

We have visited many of the California missions and found this one to be pleasant to visit, but not at the top of the list. With that said, it is nice to see that it is still an active church.
The gardens out back are nice but not as private and tranquil as some with a parking lot right up against them.
The mission church is a nice place to sit and be quiet for awhile.

We have visited nearly all of the California missions. Today, we were a tad late for the tour, but walked around the grounds. Then we opted to have dinner and went back after dark. Several homeless individuals were sleeping (or in sleeping bags) around the front of the mission. Made me a bit uncomfortable.

Small mission; not much to see. Parking is very difficult. There was a wedding event so we didn't get to see the chapel.

We had limited time but wanted to stop and see this Mission. We were late for the 11 am tour so waited for the 1.15 one (with Chuck) and he did an excellent job. One is always competing with the parking meter and have seen the meter maid give tickets so it is always wise to not default. Learned a bit about the mission and its activities.

Great place to go, Everything is free and museum is just great. Very nice grounds and they do offer free tours.

We enjoyed our visit to both the Church and the Museum, the Mission Church is different from other missions both in shape and decoration. The museum was very interesting with many artifacts and interesting pictures.

Very small grounds at mission itself mostly landscaped. Don’t think they would appreciate pets. Plenty of other open areas in the San Luis environs
