Been going since I was a small child. Still just too dry right now and needs rain. There is not enough shade so bring a canopy. Also watch out for bees in certain parts

There is a free parking lot just inside the park near the Penitencia Creek trail. It was full so I drive past the unmanned booth and drive through the park. It is gorgeous with a lot of trees and dirt paths. Parking there is $6...More

This is a special place with lots of hiking (or running) trails. Large grassy area with picnic tables great for families. Enjoy this historic park and its beauty.

You have 3 great Hikes. Eagle Rock, The normal trail and then the long trail over the back of the park. The hike can go from 1 hour to 4 hours depending on the trail you take,

I agree with the other answers about walking along the road but more areas for stroller are paved at the furthest parking lot. So depending on how far you want to hike and the time of year also makes a difference if you want... More
