I grew up visiting these gardens with my family. It has a wonderful set of pathways that take you through rolling hills with Koi ponds and beautiful landscaping.

Many of the Reviews on trip advisor mentioned the view of the sunset. Not so much. However we enjoyed our visit immensely and recommend anyone in the area take an hour to enjoy a walk through the beautiful gardens.

Beautiful and calm park in San Jose. It is a nice place to wind down over the weekends. Parking is a bit pricy though

The Japanese friendship garden is beautiful and peaceful. The koi are fun to watch. Parking is a bit steep considering it only takes about 1/2 hour to see the whole exhibit.

It's free to public however; parking permit is required. It cost only $6 per car if you park in the parking lot that is closet to the main entrance
