We were here to see Anthony Bourdain in November and loved it! The place was packed but people were flowing pretty easily and there were ushers everywhere ready to answer any questions. We could easily see the stage and hear Anthony speak. We will be back!

We saw a terrific production of the Sound of Music. The seats are comfortable and by theater standards, "roomy". There are two sets of restrooms - one on the far left and one of the far right (both are on the second level). The staff does a good job of monitoring the lines during the intermissions. It does have a... More

We ended up parking next door at the Adobe HQ for $8 for the evening performance. There's not a lot right there, so be sure you have eaten before going into the venue. once your barcode is scanned, you will need to stay. There are many bar/snack places. If you think you might want something at intermission ORDER IN ADVANCE!!... More

I've had a great time. The seats were great, just a bit tricky to get to. The rows are long and if you are in the middle it can be a trek. Overall it was great. The bathroom was clean as well.

We have visited the SJCPA several times for various performances and events. It is just ok. The parking is not convenient and the location is average. The facility could really use a facelift as it feels stuffy and a little old.

We've had the pleasure of seeing a number of performances at this wonderful venue. In downtown San Jose, with limited, metered on-street parking available, but a number of nearby and convenient (paid) parking lots and garages. The SJCPA obtains quality productions that don't disappoint and are held in a comfortable and attractive space. They offer a nice little variety of... More

In the pass and again this season we are members of the theater . Our package includes plays that are held at Performmg Arts. I love the venue because all the seats are good some just farer away then others. The venue is kept up so well it still is like new.

The Phantom of the Opera is superb. The set is magical and transforms into stunningly beautiful set after set. The costumes our intricate and beautiful. The opera is sublime. This opera, is not to be missed.

We are season ticket holders to the musical theater at the SJCPA and always enjoy the evening out. We will be there for Phontom this weekend. It is so much better that paying the ridiculous prices to see a play in San Francisco. After you pay for parking and dinner in SF you are released into the night in some... More
