We have been to Egypt, and world class museums with Egyptian collections. This private collection is quite amazing! The rest of the museum was mostly student work and some permanent collection pieces by artists we were not familiar with. Getting there and finding the museum on the campus took some sleuthing. They wanted us to pay for parking when there was barely a soul in sight and the parking lots were empty. Would not recommend going to the trouble--UNLESS you like Egyptian art--and in that case, it is well worth going out of your way to come here.

RAFFMA (Robert & Frances Fullerton Museum of Art) is a wonderful museum located at Cal State San Bernardino. Parking is for a fee, but it is not high. I think we paid about 5$. It is a walk, however, to the museum from the parking areas. The entry fee is donation based and a minimum of 5$ is suggested. The museum has art from their permanent collections which includes antiquities and contemporary art. They offer new exhibits quite a bit so if yo have something particular in mind, give them a call. They also have solo installations by contemporary artists. This is the best museum in San Bernardino. If you like art you will enjoy this place. Have fun.
