We had a lovely trip to Arrowbear Lake to stay in a A-Frame and this short hike was perfect with our 3 year old son. Lots to explore and see, very accessible, variety of scenery and fun.

Great place to travel for a day or visit for a week. Many beautiful sites to see. Lots of fishing and camping in the mountains. Can rent boats at the different lakes. Great for daily family trip. Kids love it.

Drove the Rim of the World Scenic Highway. Lots of curves and switchbacks. The panoramic views were quite impressive. By the time I arrived at Big Bear Lake, the temperature had dropped approximately 15 degrees, very refreshing.

Please contact the local chamber of commerce in Big Bear, Lake Arrowhead or Idyllwild. The Forest Service does not have rental cabins on the San Bernardino.
