This small winery has expensive wines - we tasted wines that sold for between about $70 and $95 a bottle, prices we would not pay for wine except perhaps for a significant anniversary. But unlike most wines we have tasted, even some in the same price range, these wines are different and worth the price if you have that kind... More

Bremer is simply a great place to hand out and taste wines. They make some really good ones. The building and grounds have been much improved by the Bremers. On a sunny day we sat outside at a picnic table and tasted 6 really great wines with a knowledgeable host Bill.

Bremer is up the hill a little bit on the East side of the valley, back in the trees and they've created a little outdoor sitting area with rock walls along a creek with a picturesque view of some of their vines. So not the sweeping views you will see from the wineries on the floor of the valley, but... More

Our party of six visited Bremer on 9/23 and Bill walked us through about five or six samples. This winery is up on Howell Mountain about 5 miles St. Helena and offers a really neat contrast to the busier wineries - also offers a beautiful geographical contrast as compared to the flatter valley. Visit was laid back and the general... More

We learned so much about the techniques used by Bremer that make their wines so special. Our guide was very well informed and open to every question we had. They let us eat a picnic lunch on their grounds and did additional tastings for us. Overall a great experience.

This was a very personalized experience and one of the smaller vineyards. I really enjoyed myself here because my guy and I were able to ask questions to a tour guide just for the two of us . We sampled wines and learned all about the vineyard under an outdoor table elevated on a mountain with a beautiful view of... More

We had a great tasting experience here through Platypus Wine Tours. We tasted under the trees at a picnic table and afterward, took our glasses while touring the grounds and extensive cave. Definitely one to see. Everyone on our tour purchased their chardonnay. We also liked the Cabernet Sauvignon. Learned a lot on this one!

This was a really beautiful winery on top of a mountain. Great tour of the cave. Quiet, off the beaten path. Wines were great. Put this on your list of places to visit.

I am not a "wine person" but it was hard not to be impressed with the facilities in terms of beauty, history, overall investment/working capital, as well as the quality of the tour and insight. Our large group visited ~7 wineries in two days and this was the first and consensus favorite.
