V. Sattui Winery is a family-owned property located in the heart of Napa Valley, which was founded in 1885 and makes more than 60 different wines with dozens of 90+ point rated wines among its current vintages. It is a stunning, must-see Napa Valley destination for picnics, weddings and events, offering an impressively robust Cheese Shop with more than 200 selections, an excellent Deli directed by Chef Gerardo Sainato, and a Salumeria directed by Stefano Masanti. The sprawling estate includes two-dozen picnic tables nestled beneath ancient Valley Oak trees and tri-level terraces that overlook beautifully manicured gardens and vineyards.

While visiting the wineries in Yountville and St. Helena we always try to arrange an hour break for lunch at our favorite deli - V. Sattui. This place is the best deli from coast to coast, what an awesome selection of deli meats, sandwiches, cheeses,...More

I was excited to visit this winery because of the beautiful photos I've seen of others posted on Pinterest. Did the wine tasting, look around and purchased a few items. They have a nice setup because there was a BBQ event going on the day...More

Never stopped here in the past, very glad we did this time. The wines are very good and the Deli is the best around. Ask for Mark in the main tasting room, he does a great job and is passionate about the wine. We joined...More

Work buddies in Sac said I couldn't miss a stop here. The tasting room is located inside, past the deli. And what a deli!!! Over 209 cheeses, meats, crackers, roasted garlic, roasted portabella mushrooms, crab cakes, breads, beverages, all so good. And the picnic area,...More

This is an ideal place to bring the whole family. I say this because they have lot more than wine. Don't get me wrong, they have lots a really nice wine, and the tasting area is roomy and inviting. But, they also have a very...More

Maybe we came at the wrong time. Or maybe we didn't give it an honest chance. Or maybe this just wasn't the winery for us. I think to some extent all of those are true. We arrived at about 12:30 PM on a Saturday to...More

This winery must be on someone's top ten list because it is overrun! Too many people crammed into the tasting room, deli, and picnic grounds. Skip it and go to a smaller winery with friendlier and more welcoming staff.

This was the best winery option that we visited. Too bad we did not visit this one first, so I did not had to waste our money in the other ones that I visited. There you can sample cheeses, cold cut, and many other delicatessen...More

My answer might sound really vague (and you’re probably already there) but my guide - which I don’t remember the name now - was italian. Italian looking and with accent also.

I saw a lot of children of all ages when visiting this winery. I can't imagine it would be an issue.
