The view of this early north american schools is an excellent reminder of how we learn today. The sturdy wooden desks, the chalkboards, the English Reader books and the rules the teachers and students had to follow and more made this a fun journey to...More

It's amazing all the rules you must follow just to be a teacher there. It must have been hard to teach many grades in a small building. Teachers in those days seemed to be able to keep the kids in line.

Our fourth grade class enjoyed our visit and class with the school Marm. It was great to see what school was like in the late 1800's.

My daughter loved it...kids can sit down and draw on a chalk board! It's kind of neat to see how our grandparents/parents schools looked like.

Beautifully restored School House. I entered and watched a group of school children being taught how things were done in school. "Way back Then" A good lesson for them.

It is small but it shows what teachers and students experienced during that time period. Some interesting reading on the rules for students and teachers.

Historical school house with historical desk and individual chalkboards. What most reviews didn't mention is that they sell souvenirs and take donations for them in the back for some items you can take home, such as the rules for teachers and students!
