Another enjoyable dining experience in Sacramento! Atmosphere is standard pub style, but the onion rings, coconut shrimp, and pastrami sandwich were great.
Service was efficiency, very good prices, and plenty of television screens.

Came to the Sports Corner Cafe with friends to watch a couple of NFL games. The games were all on, the A/C was running, the beer varied with many on draft and cold. We did not order good so I cannot comment on it. A good place to watch a game.

Not overly impressive food but good quick service at this casual and friendly bar. Not being very familiar with the area, the visitor's center recommended this particular sports bar. We tried the coconut shrimp and the Caesar Salad with chicken. Again, not impressive but not bad. My recommendation would be to stick with the cold beer and find another choice for lunch. Sorry... maybe I should have had the hamburger! The shrimp were wonderful!

It was a long Saturday event and when it was concluded, my friends and I walked over to Old Town (Sacrmentto) for a late afternoon drink.
This café is on the corner down the cowboy boardwalk. We went in there and there were so many tv screens showing different sports ( NBA, NASCAR, soccer, etc).
The café offers a menu of sandwiches, burgers, fries, appetizers, etc. and of cause, beer and call drinks. Service was very quick.
Two of us asked for dark beer. We decided on the British stout. My other two friends ordered their call drinks. The drinks were promptly delivered. We enjoyed our own happy hour, until dinner to time!
The bill came and it was reasonable for six drinks for less than $7.00 a drink. Not bad as we headed out in the cold wet Sacramento weather for our dinner.

It's not the biggest, but the drinks are great, and prices are decent. I usually stop by every time I'm in old Sacramento
