My first visit to the Cathedral was to see Chanticleer perform a Christmas concert, which was so acoustically clear and thrilling to see in this beautiful setting. The second was for a wedding. Both visits inspired me to want to become a catholic just so I could worship here weekly! This is also the setting for the start of the... More

I didn't enter the building but stood in awe outside of it. It was absolutely gorgeous. I saw inside the building from the sidewalk and I imagine it was lovelier in side.

Another place to kill time and not spend money (unless you want to donate). The cathedral has beautiful interior with stained glass and a nice altar. It is located between J and K at 10th. There are many homeless in the front of the cathedral. I guess that is where they want to hand out as they know they will... More

I enjoyed sitting in this church - I was in time for mass to begin. I stayed for a few minutes longer but while I was there, I enjoyed the architecture and stained glass windows. Lovely.

As a native Sacramentan, can't believe I never saw this beauty before. I traveled to Europe, thrilling at the gorgeous and solemn cathedrals all over the continent. Wish I'd known this was in my backyard. Do't expect a professional tour guide, but hey, it's free, and the guide is a volunteer. :) Alternately, just drop in and enjoy the stained... More

We've had an opportunity to visit the cathedral as well as attend mass at this beautiful church. It is not unusual to find Bishop Soto conducting mass and welcoming the parishoners

The Cathedral is more of a tourist attraction, but it does offer mass and other church services. It is located in downtown, it walking distance to the Capital building, Capitol park, near the IMAX theater, local shops, restaurants, and the new arena. Parking is difficult to find, have to either park at a distance or pay to park at one... More

The new priest looks like a man I've been avoiding for years. A lot of pageantry, message is average Beautiful stained glass. They need a new old Irish priest.

I'm giving the exterior FIVE stars! We were unable to get inside however the outside is beautiful to walk around and the area is safe and secure. The kids loved the architecture just as much as we did. Next time we will plan it when we can go in!

We were in the cathedral to hear the Chanticleer Men's Group presenting an acapella Holiday Season concert, not a traditional religious service. We have been in many cathedrals throughout the world, most recently in Spain, and this cathedral is very typical but not as impressive as the others.
