The Cathedral is an important part of California history. The Cathedral is well preserved and reflects a classic Catholic Church built in the last days of the 19th Century.

If you are in need of a contact with the divine, and are catholic enter, if you want to see how Sacramento's people made their cathedral enter, else just look at the façade and walk away.

The most beautiful church in town. No parking other than the street or nearby garages. Besides services, they host some concerts, the most famous being the a capella group Chanticleer.which we go to every year and the sound is just great

I did a Monday mass here. The Cathedral is absolutely beautiful with tremendous history. The story of some of the frescoes is fascinating, considering in 1900 some came here from Germany. Put this on you list.

This is a beautiful church nestled at the midst of the busy Capitol Hill of Sacramento. The interior is beautiful and is comparable to the churches seen in Europe. The church is very clean and very quiet place of worship. The choir for Sunday mass...More

My family always attend mass here, and althougj there are a lot of people attending the mass, it is still solemn. The choir is really good. Kudos to the music director, Rex Rallanka.
