Background videos and tour were very interesting for older teens and adults. The history and background of the Stanfords and their house are definitely worth the free admission.

You will learn a lot when touring this historic mansion. Very well done. Great background on the Standford familty and how Stanford U came into existence Located close to the capitol.

Only person on last tour of the day so moved quickly.Moved by story loss only child. House is beautiful but no photos allowed. Can see examples same work photos allowed at Crocker.

A great place to visit, but you will need to plan your visit as access is only at the designated tour times. The mansion is also used for events and would be a great place for a wedding.

The tour was free. I did drop a few bucks into the donation box, however.
