Watch your step as you walk back through time on their boardwalk! Great view of Sacramento long ago.

Old Sac is a nice place to visit while in Sacramento. There are so many buildings with character and the scenery is beautiful as well. It is a nice place to take a walk, shop and /or eat. I was with a family member, no...More

It's like taking a walk down an old west town a 150 years ago. All of the stores have that old west store front feel. The only thing that is missing is the "OL' DOC's" office and the "OL" JAIL" that houses the town drunk...More

Nice part of the town. We vent to old town walking. It is a fine place, many different places and quiet.

It is nice that they preserved this rather than razing it for the 1960s urban renewal craze. But (aside from the museums) pretty much of a tacky souvenir shop, downscale eateries, and salt water taffy place. Could be Old Town San Diego or some Florida...More

Old Sacramento is definitely worth a stop to see some historic buildings, learn about history, shop and eat. It's very touristy but you can walk to everything and it's a great atmosphere.

We visited Old Sacramento on October 22, 2018. The California State Railroad Museum was our main reason for visiting, and we found the museum to be very worthwhile. However, the museum lacks dedicated parking - which turned out to be a major shortcoming. It appears...More

What a quaint place. So many original buildings that now have neat shops and restaurants plus museums and an opportunity for a river cruise. Prices not out of line. Loved it!

Old Sacramento has a lot of cute shops and things to see. Costume shop, sunglasses shop, souvenir shops, tattoo stops, and a lot more. We had caricatures done which was pretty neat. We also walked around the river.

Yes. I would say so. Lots of outside space in bars and cafes. Very little traffic.

I like Firehouse for the seafood, but I guess it depends on what style you want. For a good pub-burger go to O’Malleys Irish pub.
