The train museum is a top attraction. Lots of bars and not too fancy restaurants. Try Fat City, the Rio, or the Delta Queen for places to eat. For a splurge go to the Firehouse Restaurant.

This is a family friendly area with much to see and do! Families would enjoy the museum with its interactive areas for children! Great souvenirs and great food, too!

cobblestone road - boardwalks with cracks between. Love the candy stores. Tourist stuff everywhere. Came for the Train Museum but walked around some too. Granddaughter is dancing on the train - Polar Express. It sells out every year.

This is our second time to visit "old sac". We go see our daughter who lives in Sacramento every once in awhile. It is several blocks of shops, restaurants and snack places. We enjoy the shops, and I usually buy something I don't need! My...More

The rain did not dampen the lighting of the 60 ft. Christmas Tree or the live dramatization of “’Twas the Night Before Christmas,” on the balconies above K Street, complete with a special appearance by Jack Frost. It was a fun evening and we will be there next...More

Yes. I would say so. Lots of outside space in bars and cafes. Very little traffic.

I like Firehouse for the seafood, but I guess it depends on what style you want. For a good pub-burger go to O’Malleys Irish pub.
