    Favourite winery on our tour.
I was a fan of Caymus before our Napa trip but even more so after our visit there. It was the middle stop of our 3 winery private tour and the experience far surpassed the other two (Stag’s Leap Cellars and Del Dotto). It was not only the wines that were superior, the staff and the outdoor setting for the tastings were above and beyond.

Emmolo wines is what brought us to Caymus
We visited Caymus to taste Emmolo wines. The Sauvignon Blanc was refreshingly light, with subtle white fruit flavors nicely supporting its mineral backbone. The Merlot was layered and complex, drinking more like a Cabernet Sauvignon. Soft tannins make it immediately approachable but make no mistake, this wine is age-worthy. You may find these wines in some restaurants and in stores but most are sold direct to consumer through Caymus Vineyards. We were seated outside and the views of the vineyards surrounding the winery made us feel like we were far away. Want to learn more about wineries and restaurants in Napa Valley and beyond? Caymus- new gardens and building redesign is beautiful
We visited Caymus vineyards the first week of September of 2023. We entered through a beautiful garden leading us to a vine draped building. Upon entering the building we were struck by its warmth and beauty. It had obviously had a recent redesign, nothing felt old and historic, but very new and curated. Luis welcomed us and began introducing us to Caymus wines. Luis was off-putting at times, but overall did a good job. Caymus wines actually speak for themselves, our favorite wines of the day!

Fairy Tale Gardens and beautiful wines.
It's a smaller vineyard, but their setting is absolutely beautiful! The wines are lovely, and there's a great variety. They have a beautiful modern bar seating if you pop in for a tasting, but if you make a reservation you get to sit in the gardens and it feels like a FAIRY TALE! You might want to ask for Donna R. she's a great Hostess. Donna makes you feel like a best friend for life.

We popped in on our "Let's drive around Napa day". Even though we had no reservation booked, we were greeted with a big smile and a "please look around of grounds" by the hostess. I asked for a tasting and was seated right away. Was hosted by Ezekiel and Auggie in the main reception area. What a wonderful treat! These men are personable and knowledgeable to match the great wines. A great experience. Thanks guys! A credit to the brand... Cheers...

This place had the best customer service, especially for military and birthdays! They made the day absolutely wonderful! The wine was so good, and the customer service was amazing! The wine cellar is actually really cool to take a picture of just because of the way, the lighting is and all the barrels. It looks really spectacular! And then, when you sit outside, the garden area is really pretty, and they have a sort of overhang full of greenery that you can take pictures of! The gardens are so pretty! I highly recommend this place! They went above and beyond!

What's not to like about Caymus
Caymus cabernet is one of my favorite wines. So, visiting the Caymus Vineyards was a must see stop on our initial trip to Napa Valley. The grounds were beautiful, and the outdoor setting for the wine tasting was a nice touch. The staff was great, and we received an oral history of the family, their business, their commitment to their wines and mostly their employees. In fact, when I described a recent experience with an online wine site and the problems I was having with delivery, they gave me a free bottle of the same wine. Love their cabernet and bought several bottles to enjoy with dinner that night.

My husbands favorite wine he couldn’t wait for the tasting!!
Although the tasting was great my hubs left saying he wished there was more to the tasting. We could be spoiled by other wineries in that area how they treated us. We basically sat in a lobby tasting Caymus which deserves a 5 star because of how good it is !! Also the person doing our tastings had to bounce back and forth to other couples or groups. My hubs loved it and that’s all that mattered ❤️

    Stay a while…
Make a reservation and do an elevated tasting. These people run a huge operation, yet find a way to make your visit feel like you are the only ones there. They have a wide variety of wines ranging from excellent lower cost everyday wines ($30-50/bottle) to select reserves that make you justify the expense of $300-400 a bottle for those special occasions. Customer service and emersion is at a level you rarely see these days. Plan on spending 2 hours. Every minute is worth it!!

    Beautiful experience
What a great experience! Beautiful grounds although about to undergo reconstruction. Attentive service, we were given a free tasting when they were running slightly behind. Packaged a case for us well to take back on the plane but can also directly ship.

We visited this winery in the suisun area and we are very satisfied with the experience. The location and the ambiance are excellent. Paradisiac Gardens and beautiful wines.
It's a smaller vineyard, but their setting is absolutely beautiful! The wines are lovely and the staff well trained and good experts in their product.
The business is not only to sell wines but to give a prize to your senses that you have to love.

This property and the lounge area was very welcoming and the staff was knowledgeable. Our wine tasting consisted of 5 wines but we got 2 bonus tastings. I would go back and I recommend as a must-visit venue.

As a group of friends playing in wine country, I don't think we could have enjoyed it more. The wines were absolutely lovely. And Jan, you were amazing! Thank you so very much!

Auggie was great, this was the most personalized tasting we had during this trip to Napa. The customer service from everyone was above and beyond. Beautiful facility and of course, fabulous wine.

This tasting experience was really posh feeling. We were seated in the beautiful garden in a very cozy seating arrangement among different types of flowers and plants. The wines were good and we were given a free paper fan and allowed to keep the glass we used to taste with. Being given souvenirs was a unique feature seen only at Caymus. Very nice!
