Grgich Hills Estate is an iconic Napa Valley winery, consistently producing world-class wines. Vintner Hall of Fame inductee Miljenko "Mike" Grgich first earned world-wide recognition when the Chardonnay he crafted won the 1976 Paris Tasting, beating the best of France. Mike then partnered with Austin Hills to open their family-owned-and-operated winery in 1977. Committed to natural winegrowing and sustainability, we farm our five estate vineyards without artificial fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides, rely on wild yeast fermentation and use our passion and art to handcraft food-friendly, balanced and elegant wines.

Very touristy, did grape stomping , fun. But very touristy. Should give a better wine while waiting, would be more inclined to do more tasting inside.

We decided to do the grape stomping that was $30 for a chance to play a "I love lucy" scene. Then you got to put your footprints on a t-shirt to take home with you. I thought it was gross for people had been in the bin before us with their stinky feet and they only added a few grapes... More

Nice wines to taste but service was not that good...they were very busy and each staff member had too many people to serve and explain the wines. Were disappointed as we enjoy their wines very much. Better luck next time!

Dear Luis A., Thank you for your visit and taking time to review us on TripAdvisor. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the wines but very sad that you felt your guide Tony was too much on a script and that you thought it was rude. Tony has been with Grgich Hills for many years and we’ve received many compliments... More

Our best tasting in Napa! We joined as members and purchased a case of mixed wines as we liked all of them in the tasting. Can't wait to celebrate special occasions with these cherished wines! We were hoping Mr. Grgich would happen to stop by for a visit.

Dear Trudy, Thank you for your visit and your TripAdvisor Review. We very much appreciate joining us members! Mike Grgich does stop by often for a visit but at 93 years old, he's not able to come in every day. We hope to see you back soon! More

We had yet another great tasting at Grgich. We ended up buying a case to ship home. We've been coming here for years and the wines are constantly good. No reservations needed to stop in this winery, and if you come during harvest season you can stomp grapes and get a Grgich Hills t-shirt (for $25).

What could be more fun than stomping grapes with your bare feet at Grgich Hills Estate? They start you out with a glass of Chardonnay or Zinfandel, then you hop into a half barrel filled with grapes and you crush them with your feet. A white t-shirt in your size to step on, leaving a purple footprint for a souvenir.... More

Absolute fantastic experience. Myles, Paul and Gustavo treated my wife and I to an educational and tasting experience beyond compare. If it is made with grapes and has alcohol you have found the right spot. Reds, whites, oh my!

This was the first stop on our trip. We had so much fun stomping grapes and tasting wine. The staff was wonderful. The stomping ticket included wine a time shirt with our grape juice foot print and reusable plastic wine cup. The value is great. Worth a stop.
