Great views of this river, which originates up around the Mount Shasta area and flows into San Francisco Bay, are afforded via numerous bridges in Redding. The coloring of the river reminds me of the River Inn in Austria. There are ample places for fishing,...More

AC is on of the most knowledgeable and friendly guides in Redding. He goes that extra mile to make sure your trip is enjoyable. If it wasn't for Anthony, my wife Susi, wouldn't have taken up fly fishing.

This river has two different looks. The first is the undimmed portion from Mt. Shasta toShasta Lake. It winds through undeveloped canyons, and is a favorite for fly fisherman. After the river leaves Lake Shasta, it is less wild, but still rapid. Perfect for rafting, kayaking and fishing....More

We were along the river from the Sundial Bridge up river along the River trail and so some fishermen pulling out some nice sized fish. Made me want to go fishing. Nice stroll along the river trail which was not too strenuous.

The Sacramento trout fishing is world-class big bows and loaded. The area trails system is unbelievable and goes on forever, choose a short, medium or a long ride, walk or skateboard tr

You can't walk the trail and feel safe at all. Transients and drugs everywhere. Very pretty walk in the fall and spring, but way too hot in the summer. Again, the homeless and drugs have taken over, very scary to walk.

Taking family and a few friends down the river for an enjoyable day can't be beat in the Summer Heat! No better way to spend the day for sure then with good company. Take snacks your favorite beverages and the super soakers!
