Great walking trail! Or bike it, or even jog it! Simple easy loop rail-trail along the Sacramento River in Redding. Especially enjoyed the bridge! Did I mention that I love bridges? Beautiful, so don't miss it when in Redding.

This was a wonderful picturesque setting away from traffic and along the river. We rode from Sundial Bridge to the Shasta Dam which was 38 miles. Go early or when it's not too hot.

Easy hike (or biking) with plenty of wildlife and nature on display. Walking alongside the river was a very calming experience hearing the running water and soaking in the peaceful ambiance.
