What s near place to bring friends and family. The ruins are special. Don't forget to grab a snack before going to see the gallows and jail. ANOTHER FREE PLACE.

We had such a excellent afternoon "stepping back in time" walking around the beautiful grounds looking at such great artifacts in The Gallows. We followed it up with an excellent lunch at the old Bakery... great place to include in your trip out to Whiskeytown

Loved this place with the feel of a ghost town. The gallows are intriguing. Wish our court system worked that quick and responded in that matter! Great historical park to bring the family to and spend a few hours.
