The peacefulness of the Sly Park Recreation area is amazing, what a wonderful place for a short walk or hike. The weather has been fantastic. Only a short drive from hwy 50. A great place for a picnic too.

This is a wonderful lake to visit for anyone looking to fish, swim, boat, or just enjoy nature. I highly recommend it!

Lots of family friendly activities to do such as hiking, camping, picnics, bathing in the waterfalls, trail biking, horse riding, boating, fishing, kayaking, etc.

Nice place to visit. Especially off season.If you have a boat thats good too! Campsites are available too so book ahead of time.

Been coming here for years. Live local but still choose Sly Park. Camping on the week days is worth taking time off if you have younger kids that need sleep. Our kids are older now but we still like the quiet that comes with less...More

Hit or miss as this lake is close to snow line at about 3,600 ft elevation.
