We did not have a lot of time, it was a lightning visit really. Wish we had more time. The wide open spaces are magnificent.

Gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean. A bonus -- fruit stand on site. Delicious. Worth stopping off to take a few photos.

This is a nice place if you like to camp or just relax on the beach. However, if you are like me, you also want to enjoy a swim, playing in the waves, and such. This beach turns rocky, lots of pebbles, which make it...More

Pt Mugu Rock is a nice stopping point on Hwy 1. It's easy to get on and off, but be aware of the curve in the road and fast-travelling cars. It's a great place to take pictures of the coast, rock climbers, Channel Islands on...More

The closest beach to the San Fernando Valley, this tiny but tranquil beach fills up every weekend. Those rocks jutting out into the sea are the first to project a wild ocean beach north of LA, and are featured in practically every commercial with an...More

Be sure to make a stop here while cruising up the coast. Gorgeous spot for a picnic etc. Better yet, check the surf forecast and stop to watch as everyone tries to grab a wave!

Yes, there is an entrance fee and varies during different time of year and of course holidays. Remember, it is a state park. The place can get very crowded depending on holidays. The campground will get full.
