Pretty surroundings overlooking vineyard. Large and comfortable deck with tables and chairs. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Come relax and enjoy the fruits of nature..Pack a lunch too!

The wines are very good! The staff was fun, informative and welcoming. The new deck overlooks the beautiful vineyards and the hills. Bring some goodies, sit in the sun and enjoy.

Placerville has some really great wineries. I like Lava Cap because it has a great view over the vines & surrounding area. Friendly & knowledgeable staff to help you choose the wine that's right for you.

This winery is further away from Highway 50 than some others, but is well worth the trip. The tasting room staff know their wines. Try the grenache and the grenache rose.
