Navarro Vineyards was possibly the first winery to open to the public in the Anderson Valley and it is certainly one of the finest. They have long known the terrior of the Valley and that it's not the place for huge sledge hammer cabernets like were and remain so popular (and absurdly high priced). Their basic pinot is one of... A bit off the beaten path, this winery is definitely worth a stop. We stopped in 2012 and have been fans since. The breadth, quality and price of their wines are unprecedented. From world class Pinots and Alsatian varietals to buttery Chards, crisp sparklers and balanced dessert wines, Navarro has you covered. The free tastings of all their wines, exceptional... More

Wow I am not sure how someone could say this place was anything but great! It was our first time and the wines were great and we were greeted with a friendly smile and hello. My wife and I enjoyed our time here and would recommend this to anyone in the area for great customer service and wines!

Beautiful setting, part of the family hospitality, and impressive wines greet you at Navarro. The Muscat Blanc is a smooth and buttery treat.

We stopped in to taste some wines with some friends. The tasting room is small and we must have gotten our server on a bad day because he did not really offer any information about the wines, so we just had to pick from a list. The tasting is free and you can pick up to 15 wines. We tasted... More

We decided to stop here on the way to see the redwoods and found a hidden gem. The wine is incredible and cheap. We loaded up on wine and then bought some bread and cheese and had a picnic on the grounds. We lucked out because they were doing a barrel tasting of last years pinot noir.

I came here for the first time as we were driving to Mendocino. It is small and quaint with beautiful flowers, a mountain view, and a lovely grape vine arbor with picnic tabes. The tasting area is quite small, but we never waited, and our server, Dave, was knowledgeable and fun. There is a second outdoor tasting area, too. We... More

Hi Nancy, Thank you for stopping in. We're hoping to expand our indoor tasting area in the future, but on summer weekends, we love the opportunity to pour wine in the garden. Come back soon! Aaron Bennett Navarro Vineyards More

I have been a member in Navarro's wine club for over 20 years. Their wines are excellent and a good value. I was in Anderson Valley a couple of weeks ago and stopped in for a tasting, which has no charge. They take you through all of the wines that are available, which is quite a few. They even gave... In a small tasting room amidst the vineyard, Navarro has more upscale wines than most Anderson Valley wineries. No fee. No limit on number of wines sampled. The drawback is that the limited physical space constricts the number of pourers, and that means you wait, and that it gets crowded.

Hello, Thank you for your recent visit and review. We have plans expand our indoor tasting area in the future as it can get crowded on the weekend. In the summer, and if the weather is nice, we have a new tasting bar in our garden that is a treat to both taste at and pour for our visitors. Come... More
