This is a pretty cool place to stop and wet your whistle as you're driving thru Petaluma. Parking can be a bit of an issue at times.

Great beer, greater atmosphere. As a denizen, I cannot speak highly enough of establishments that care about specializing in small. Care is exhibited in the selection of beverage quality and diversity, thought is implemented in the setting, and decorum is paramount. Don't pass this joint...More

Awesome little bar and Ernie was great! Cold craft beer, cool tshirts. Was passing by on our way to sonoma and had to stop. Exterior sign said 1.75 beer which is Hamms in a can-classic college beer so had to have 1 of those. Ernie...More

This is the best bar I ever have been before. Nice people, good music, awesome stuff everywhere and the best choices for beer and craft for sure.

This tiny little bar at the corner of nothing and nowhere is tremendously good. The Beer menu is vast and the value is even better. I would be disappointed if I missed out. when you need a break from wine, seek this joint!

Small, atmospheric, no pretensions, great beer - there's nothing else like it in the Napa/Sonoma area.

This place has been around since 1923. Was a service station that served "drinks". Great bartender. Local residents. On the outskirts of Sonoma & Petaluma. Lots of micro brews. Just fun!

We (a group of Indycar photographers and officials) were motoring to our hotel via the backroads of Petaluma when we came upon Ernie's...a waterhole par excellence. Funky and cool, with a garage from 1915 that looks like it hasn't changed a bit since the 20th...More
