A very nice open space area for dog walkers & bird lovers. But we were disappointed in the lack of waterfowl. There are better places to watch.

If you like to observe shorebirds, this a great place to take an easy flat walk. There are also a few raptors and marsh birds. Easy loop trail back to the parking lot.

It also adjoins Altman Marsh, a beautiful preserve where birdwatchers commune with the fowl. Thoughtful placards describe the birds that inhabit the... More

This is a great short - under 2 mile walk around the water. The birds are out in force. A little tricky to find the entrance so check before you go.

Went only to take a walk in a summer morning. It was a huge surprise to discover that the park is a bird watcher Eden. Wide variety of birds, meany many species. Great opportunities for a bird photograph.

I've been running here for years, completely unaware that Schollenberger was a birder's paradise. I've seen my share of a variety of unusual birds, deer, jack rabbits, snakes and of course I wait for the swans every year. Once I talked to the gentleman who had photographed and displayed beautiful photos of some of the most beautiful birds and creatures... More

Love taking a leisurely Sunday afternoon walks through Shollenberger and then stopping in at the nearby Pub Republic or Lily Kai for an early dinner!
