Played Spyglass as a warm-up to Pebble. My caddy said that while Pebble is a must, if he had to play one every day, it would be Spyglass. I mention this because it does say how nice Spyglass is...though personally, Pebble is more amazing. The first half of the front 9 at Spyglass is all along the ocean, great views.... More

I read that this was one of the top ten hardest course in the country. It is but is also more fair than one would expect. A must before you play Pebbe to appreciate. Well manicured.

We planned to play at Spyglass as a bucket list item simply because of the cost. The first holes are as good as any I have played anywhere with amazing foliage, vistas, deer and ocean proximity and sea lions. The only course better, in my opinion, is Pebble Beach itself. The course was in excellent condition. I was disappointed with... More

An enjoyable round on a lovely course. Greens were the best of the 3 courses we played at Pebble Beach

Outstanding golf course with fantastic greens. Condition excellent & the views especially on the early holes are tremendous. For a special trip worth the green fee.

Where to start? The PGA Tour pros play here, and for good reason. The course is beautiful, was in great shape, and the views on the first five holes near the ocean were wonderful -- as was the challenge. It was a first-class experience. One thing to be noted: my Bucket List trip to Spyglass Hill was free, as a... More

My son and I just played Spyglass. We loved the course as it was everything you would expect from a top rated course with one exception; an obnoxious Marshall. The Marshall's name is Dick and he felt the need to not only check in but comment on shots saying to my son ... wow, your shot was as far left... More

I've had the pleasure of playing six rounds of golf this holiday and Spyglass Hills probably tops the list. The service is fantastic. The pro shop is well stocked and the grill is good. A challenging course with some amazing par 3's. long par 4's and 5's. what's incredible is the wild life; red squirrel and deer all over the... More

Beautiful course, but it is expensive and there are none of the "frills" you would expect from a good US course. There is no sand on the cart to repair divots. There is no cooler on the cart to hold water. Water is from coolers on the course and in plastic cups, which means it slops around as you go... More

We played Pebble Beach and this is the other course to put on the list. There are only 4-5 water holes and the rest of the course is tree lined with slick greens. Have a caddie to help you because they are hard to read
