Wonderful Ambiance and delicious library wines! Their current vintages were young and might need a year or two before they are ready to drink. The presenter was excellent and the support staff helpful. Beautiful grounds!! Overall, the experience was worth the money. I will bring my next tour group to Denner for a library tasting experience.

Maybe it was our taste in wine, but this was the only winery we didn't buy anything from on our visit which included 9 wineries. While we didn't like it, a few of our friends that have visited loved the place. The four of us agreed too high an acidity on everything we tasted and the hostess was not the most knowledgeable and not passionate about their wine.

This place is amazing on so many levels. The views are outstanding. You feel like you can just stare at the green and rolling hills forever! The staff is quite knowledgeable (we loved working with Teresa). A very comfortable place to sample some of the area's finest wines.
Note: There is no food to purchase at this winery.

Don't bother with the wines-overpriced and sour at any price. The staff couldn't be bothered. Nor can I from here on.

I struggled writing this review because basically I wanted to keep this place for ourselves. But sharing, laughing, stimulating conversation, good food and the grape are just a few of the reasons we love the grape. So I must..
Our weekend at Denner Vineyards & Comus House was outstanding in so many ways. The great customer service (Mr. & Mrs. Johansen and Theresa), spectacular views, everything impeccably presented with a smile and warmth and of course great wine. The Comus house is situated on a hill top with spectacular views. The interior layout is chic, filled with light, easy and spotless. We felt like home as soon as the door opened and we stepped into the foyer. This was our first time in Paso and this fantastic experience has set the baseline very high. We have been home for less than 24hrs and have reserved another weekend. Please don't walk but run and experience Paso Robles and especially the Denner Vineyard. If your lucky book the Comus house for accommodations, you will not want to leave. But you'll have to because we are coming back and need the rooms. Thanks in advance...

The views are good and the wines are tasty, but today so many wineries are achieving this level of flavor and complexity at half the price. There is a romance to this name which has achieved some very high quality years and avid followers, but I was underwhelmed.

The subject says it all. They have a decent rose, perhaps a tad tangy for some tastes that's reasonably priced. Aside from that, every wine is $60 and honestly, we don't feel worthy of the price tag. Doubt they care since their wine club is wait listed! Tastings are reasonably priced at $15 each. The view is very nice, but again, they seem to have a "napa attitude" without the wine to back it in our opinion.

Sadly, it appears the C-suite of Gallo has struck again, scooping up a great Paso Robles vineyard and winery with no consideration for the culture of the industry in the local area. The wine is still great quality, but the on-site experience is now robotic and far from the charming, personal, warm experience it used to be.

We had a few magic hours here with Anthony and the team at Denver.
We started with a tour of the production facilities and a barrel tasting of the recent vintages.
We moved on to tasting room and the garden and tasted a flight of extremely well crafted wines. They were all worthy of cellaring and we took quite a few home.
Lovely environment. Great place to visit.
