Whalebone was new discovery for us. We found some very nice red wines with a very pleasant server. She knew about the wine and gave us lots of information. The winery has some interesting history and is worth the stop.

Just the sort of stop we were looking for - a windy tree lined road passing by vineyards and horses. Friendly service, delicious wine, reasonable wine club, and olive oil to boot!

We stopped when other tasting rooms recommended a stop. It is family run,hands on winery. Not fancy but comfortable and good service and wine. I recommend.
