About
An OASIS like no other! Our tasting room is nestled amongst the hills in the beautiful south-east portion of Paso Robles in the El Pomar District. Have your tasting inside or out, overlooking breathtaking scenes that include 60 planted acres of SIP certified sustainable vineyards, 2 acres of gardens and flowers, and a grove of 130+ year old olive trees. Our grounds are perfect for a casual picnic in the sunshine or an intimate wedding. You can enjoy tableside service in the sunshine and often leave learning something new. You’ll be able to spot a wide variety of wildlife on the property, with an assortment of birds from sparrows and quail to imposing hawks and eagles. Still Waters is a family owned vineyard that is dedicated to producing small lots of premium estate wines including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Grenache, Primitivo, Zinfandel, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, and Pinot Gris as well as estate olive oil for tasting.

Sat inside with the rain that day, great service and good wine. They had a very nice garden area with tables, that would be great on a nice day. You can bring a picnic as well. They have a small store, with some nice choices to add on. They waived the tasting fees with two bottle purchase per tasting fee. If you are looking for a nice spot on the eastern side of Paso, this would be a great choice.

Our tasting guide, Eric, was the best part of our visit--funny, great stories, and terrific wine tasting info. We picnic'd with our own lunches, and even in 111 degree heat sitting outside, we had a wonderful time at Still Waters. Highly recommend a visit. Very friendly folks and fabulous wine.

We had a reservation and were promptly seated at a table with a view of the vineyard. Edward poured for us, and was so personable and accommodating. We ordered a cheese plate in advance, and there was plenty to feed the three of us. Edward described each wines poured, and also brought chilled water for our table. The setting was quaint, with nice views and beautiful flowers surrounding the seating area. We visited three wineries that day and Still Waters was, by far, our favorite. We will definitely return.

The setting is gorgeous and we enjoyed a wonderful bottle of their Barrel Select Chardonnay along with a picnic we brought from nearby Mr Pickles Sandwich Shop in Paso.
Nikki was wonderful at making us feel so welcome. They welcome outside food (which is rare these days) and their grounds are spectacular and wines are too! We can't wait to return!

Confirmation of how incredible the grounds are here. Just beautiful - lush & green. Red grapes ready for the late August crush, flowering plants and tricking water into wine barrels. Gazebos and big umbrellas provide shade and the entire tasting room and grounds encourage milling-about and friendly conversation. Boys loved the corn-game as well.

Charcuterie plate was 10/10 and the tasting was done with a ton of description and options for everyone’s preferences.

Great visit - a definite favorite!

It was such a lovely property and we fall in love - it made us uncomfortable that two of the waitress wasn’t wearing the mask whole time. The host told us it was her 5th day of working and she wasn’t acknowledged at all. She doesn’t even know the process of each wine. very bummed

Hubs and I do a LOT of wine tasting. We live in the Willamette Valley of Oregon and on our last trip, visited four different California wine regions. But I must say, our experience at Still Waters Vineyards was one of the best I've ever had.

Wine tasting is more than just the wine. You want to learn a little, Relax, Be a bit pampered or, at least, feel welcomed. I like to actually see the grapes beyond my wineglass. And Still Waters hit all the boxes.

To begin with, the tasting room is AT the winery with a beautiful view and manicured gardens. In the summer or warm spring/fall days, it must be a delight to taste outside. But this was winter. The tasting room was beautifully decorated for Christmas. A fully-decked out tree before the fireplace. A deep, comfy couch invited us to stay.

Unfortunately, I don't recall the server's name, but he came to us with the wine glass and each individual bottle (we shared a tasting - hubs had a cold), sat down on a nearby chair, and told us a lot about the individuality of every wine.He made us feel like old friends. And he never rushed us or pushed us to purchase any of the wines.

The wines were good. Really good. We bought about a case. Luckily we rented an SUV.

Oh, and Johnny, the "winery cat" was an added bonus.

My husband and I spent a lovely afternoon tasting red wines at Still Waters Winery. Lynn poured some wonderful wines and was so friendly and accommodating! We also had our pup with us—it was a very dog-friendly venue!

Creston,CA is a short drive outside of downtown Paso Robles. Still Waters is located overlooking sixty acres of grapes and a beautiful old olive tree orchard. Their wine tasting is accompanied by fresh artisan bread and their great olive oil from their orchard. You can enjoy your wine tasting indoors or outdoors. One of our favorite spots to bring a picnic lunch after wine tasting and before we visit other wineries, As they learn what you like the staff will recommend other wineries in the area (there are over 200 in the Paso AVA now)! We have recommended Still Waters to friends over the years and many new wine club members have followed.
