About
Vines on the Marycrest is truly a boutique winery specializing in award winning, small-production Zinfandel and Rhone varietals and blends that reflect the Paso Robles appellation. In current release are Roussanne, Rose of Tempranillo, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and four unique red rhone blends. Tastes are poured in the winery among the barrels with the owners/winemakers. Mid-Century pottery and paintings are on display and for sale as well.

This was my second visit here and I enjoyed it just as much as the first. Victor and Jenny are super fun, friendly hosts. I absolutely love their Syrah!!
It’s a small boutique winery which makes it even better.

This place is great. Definitely unique and different than the other wineries around paso. Victor and Jenni are super nice and their wines are to die for! I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it to everyone! Try the Heart of Glass and the rose wines!

Victor makes some great old world style wines. The atmosphere is great and we had lots to chat about with him. High fives. Go for the wines, stay for the musical events.

We went to Vines on the Marcrest on the advice of a friend. He definitely didn't steer us wrong! The owners, Vincent and Jenny (and their adorable dog Ralph) poured us some fantastic vino. One can tell how much passion and energy goes into making their wine and how proud they are of the end product.

We even figured out that my wife and Jenny worked together many many years ago! What a small world. Great wines, even better people. We will definitely be coming back!!

At the urging of our house host and another vintner we stopped at this little tasting room that was really just a corner of a large metal shed. The "real" tasting room is set to open in a few weeks and there is little doubt that it will be a real treat since we were invited to view the near finished product.
We met the the owners; a wonder couple struggling to balance family, work and a business and had truly wonderful visit. Grapes were being pressed just steps away and we even joined in and helped. Every part of our visit was a delight.

This winery was recommended to us by a couple in Paso who was also spending the weekend doing some wine tasting. We tried it out and were pleasantly surprised. The tasting bar is cozy, but the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Had a nice wine tasting at this slightly out of the way winery. The wines were good and the people who took care of us were very hospitable and friendly!

Had just visited Chronic Cellers and one person in our party noticed the small open sign. And we were lucky that she did!

After meeting the owner and winemaker, we proceeded to spend the next couple of hours learning about and tasting some excellent wines.

We left feeling that we had learned a lot and had a great wine tasting experience. Back at home we are still enjoying the bottles we purchased.

We hope to return soon.

a little bit of a fiasco with the Central Coast Wine Passport and Groupon (long story !) but having the Passport made it easier to figure out which wineries to visit on our maiden trip to Paso Robles !

We saved Whalebone and Vines on the Marycrest for the second day, mostly due to their location. Little did we know that we had saved the best for last !

We liked Victor's enthusiasm for wine making and his desire to try different things. We liked how he mixes both his interests as a wine maker with the interests of his wine club members. And most of all, we liked the wines !

We had a good chat about wines and wineries in the area and drank a lot of good wine. At the end, even though we belong to three other wine clubs, we decided to sign up here. Hopefully we'll be able to drive down and pick up the fall shipment !! (and a lot of amenities for wine club members besides great wine at a good price !!)

PS as is common with the wineries in the area, there is a tasting fee but don't let that put you off ...... I believe the fee is waived if you buy wine and there is such a big selection, I'm sure you'll find something to buy and take home :-)
